The Mer de Glace, originates at an elevation of 3,900 m, and descends down to 1,400 m.in the Chamonix Valley, it is the largest glacier in France, 7kms long and 200m deep. We got there at 14:00 after a paying a fee of 106 euro, we were keen on having lunch. To our nasty surprise, le Resto was closed between 14.00 - 18.00, and they call this tourism, those bloody French!!!

My Foot!
Probably you are wondering why I am blogging my foot? While at a convention in New Orleans we had to walk for miles on end, the sole of my feet were killing me, as I was not equipped with the right shoes. I walked into a Foot Locker store to find to my amazement, that the only color they carry is RED & Black, upon further investigation, I discovered that colored people love red!! Amazingly enough I got comments while walking on the street "Cool Shoes Dude", goes to show that Nike did their marketing homework. I still have the shoes although I never wear them!

Hooters New Oleans
A couple of years ago a colleague of mine kept nagging about chicken wings at Hooters. The best ever most tasty dazzling chickens wings. The wings were boring, however the hostesses were a sight for sore eyes, dont you agree?
Retirement Plan
My sincere wish is to retire in wonderful place such this one. Location Alsace France, "Pont du Diable" "Legend has it that, to help in the difficult construction of the bridge, Lucifer asked for the soul of the first one to cross the bridge after it was completed. The devil must have given a sickly smile - the first one to cross was a mangy dog! Since then the bridge has been called "The Devil's Bridge" The photo is not of the actual bridge. However I thought that was a cool picture to post.

Arab Union NOT!!!
My last visit to Marakesh, taught me a new lesson in cultural and language differences. The sign you see, uses an arabic word that you can be killed for using, in this region of the Arab World. The word "Arsat" in Morrocan means area, so next time you meet a Morocan that ask you from which "Area" are you from? Don't go for his throat!!

Harley on Top
was sifting through a series of pictures from my last year visit to Lebanon, when I stumbled on this gem. I have been driving bikes for the last 27 years of my life and I got to say that was one heck of an experience, I drove with the Saudi & Lebanese HOG club to the Cedars, as I was the designated road captain, I went scouting all the way up at 3000 meters above sea level with a temperature of 6 degrees, that was a shot to remember
Apocalyse
Someone told me today that the radio forecasted 65 degrees yes 65 degrees centigrades of heat on July 1st, is global warming knocking our doors or is it Apocalypse? Either wayI will be on vacation in Lebanon at that time, and I will think of you while sipping margueritas on the rocks, NOT!:)

Kuwait by Night
Today we spent the afternoon at a friends place in Shaab, I took this shot around 8 pm, to highlight the liveliness of Kuwait city at night. Mind you I have taken the same shot at 4pm with a totally different outcome summarized as LAME, thank god for darkness, which sometimes bring up the best and worst in things.
