Bill Gates Visiting the Space?

There are rumors saying that Mr. Bill Gates is taking a holiday out of the earth, in space. A Russian cosmonaut said that Gate’s colleague and the current space tourist Charles Simonyi, has cited the world’s richest man is considering a possible flight to the space. U.S company, Space Adventures, charges $25 million dollar for this out of world trip. However Mr.Gates has not confirmed his cosmos desires personally.
I just hope that the shuttle does not run on windows.

N800 Knock Off!!

At this point the knockoff wizards in China will copy pretty much anything, so we're not going to claim to be surprised at this blatant rip of Nokia's N800 "Internet Tablet." The GPS unit runs Windows CE 5.0 and features a 4.3-inch touchscreen with handwriting recognition, WiFi, Skype, email and MSN support, document viewers, and a media player. In my book this would be a cool knock off, as I am not a huge fan of Symbian OS.

El Superbeasto (Episode III)

So whats new here, for starters my Tailgunner arrived, yippee, and boy that barrel spins. However fitting it is gonna be a challenge, some fabrication is needed. Oil Tank is off, major parts will be shipped for powder coating. Still waiting for some parts here and there to start assembly. Finding custom parts is a challenge more dineros and hours spend on eBay. The good part is that the vision of the final product is getting clearer.

Riding Tips (front brakes)

Great Article from motorcycle.com

Beginning riders are taught in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) courses that effective braking is accomplished by using both front and rear brakes together. There is nothing to fear in using the front brake.

Most modern motorcycles have rear disc brakes. These brakes stop faster, wear longer, and won't fade as much. The rear disc brakes are controlled by the brake pedal.
Beginners often rely only on the rear brake since they can easily activate it using their right foot. Many have been erroneously taught that the front brake, activated by the right hand brake lever (shown here), is to be avoided.

However, remember that more than 70 percent of the stopping power of a bike is in the front brake. Get used to using the front brake and the rear brake together. As you progress in your training, you will learn how to use both the front and rear brakes to make fast controlled stops. There are also special situations where different uses of the front and rear brakes are required. When you attend the MSF classes, these situations will be covered.

Since many beginners use the rear brake too much, they often lock them up during panic situations and skid the rear tire. Remember that if you find yourself in a rear wheel skid, DO NOT release the brake pedal. Ride it out. Releasing the pedal will often cause a high side incident. This is the opposite of the advice given for a front-wheel skid with the front brake locked up (release the front brake).

Yamaha Electric Prototype Bike

Lithium Ion motorbike prototype is emission and sound-free It goes 0-60 in around 3 seconds, hits close to 100 mph at top speed, and has about a 100-mile range at cruise. The bike is a Yamaha R1 that has been modified to be powered by lithium-ion batteries. The entire engine is missing. So are the tailpipes, radiator, gas cap, transmission and clutch. In their place: a wall of yellow batteries, an AC regenerative motor, an electric throttle and a three-pronged plug, which pokes out from the frame and connects to a standard outlet. The bike retails at $15,000, give me a break a sound free bike, I'd rather stick t o my Harley what a joke.

Microsoft Surface (popular mechanics)

Microsoft Surface Teaser

Surface computing has four key attributes:
- Direct interaction. Users can actually "grab" digital information with their hands and interact with content by touch and gesture, without the use of a mouse or keyboard.
- Multi-touch contact. Surface computing recognizes many points of contact simultaneously, not just from one finger, as with a typical touch screen, but up to dozens and dozens of items at once.
- Multi-user experience. The horizontal form factor makes it easy for several people to gather around surface computers together, providing a collaborative, face-to-face computing experience.
- Object recognition. Users can place physical objects on the surface to trigger different types of digital responses, including the transfer of digital content.
